Direct Donation Drive
Direct Donation makes programs that enhance South Lake's academics and classrooms, student development, and social events possible for all students. There are a couple of ways you can contribute: via the PTSA website (www.southlakePTSA.com) where you may use a credit card (without Pay Pal fees) or by completing the flyer that was mailed to your home address and having your student return the donation (cash or check) with the flyer to his/her homeroom teacher. Remember, if you join PTSA and make a direct donation by 9/26, you can receive Free Angels Tickets while supplies last. If you've already joined PTSA and made a direct donation, you automatically qualify.
Any amount is appreciated and will help us to achieve our goal of $20,000!! Thank you so much for your support. Remember that your donation is tax deductible.
Information on academic competitions for 2016-17 has been updated. Additional dates for science and math competitions will be added as soon as information is made available.
This year the PTA’s Reflection Program is proud to announce the theme of “What is Your Story.” Your student can submit original works of art in one of more of the following categories: dance/choreography, music composition, literature, photography, visual arts and film production. If your student is interested, they may pick up an entry form in the front office. The deadline for entries is October 9th. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact PTSA Reflections Representative Lauren Shavitz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Be sure to take a look at the Counseling Department's new website located here. It will also be permanently linked under the Departments page. The mission of the South Lake School Counseling team is to collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and the community to support students in their development of academic excellence, personal/emotional wellness, and college/career readiness.
* South Lake students become adept at using a variety of technology tools for reaching their learning goals. While this information will be covered with homeroom and classroom teachers, summarizing documents are also available online. If you are new to IUSD or need a refresher on technology basics, please read through this page located under the Library's page for introductory information.
* If you are a parent or guardian and would like additional information on Canvas, IUSD's online learning system, please read through this document with instructions on creating a parent account.
* Lastly, many of the links to technology tools that we utilize can be found at the top of the Students page and login information can be found here.
