CAASPP Testing 2017

Each spring, students in IUSD participate in CAASPP assessments to provide information about their skills in English, mathematics, and science. Given online, the tests are computer-adaptive, allowing for more precise measurement of individual skills.

Based on your student's grade, they may take one or more of the following tests this year: Smarter Balanced Assessments in English and Math, Calforinia Science Test pilot, and the California Alternate Assessments. South Lake will be completing CAASPP testing for ELA and Math from May 8th – May 19th. We will have Late Start on Wednesdays NOT Tuesdays for both weeks.

Assessment results should always be interpreted as one of multiple measures of a student's skills. If you have any questions regarding your child's participation, please contact Mr. Kette. Click here to view the complete letter sent to parents and guardians.

Student Achievements

Many South Lake students participate in school enrichment activities and academic competitions. We would like to recognize the following students for their recent accomplishments. Way to go, Sharks!
